What do you enjoy most about teaching? I enjoy building relationships with my students , giving all my students nicknames, and creating a safe and loving teaching environment in the classroom.

What do you find the most challenging about teaching? What I find the most challenging is trying to leave all of the troubles and heart aches that I may endure as a teacher at school and remember that I must take care of me as a person to be the best version of me when I am teaching.

Best tip for new teachers: Take each day one day at a time and never forget the love and the drive that influenced you to become a teacher.

Best tip for career teachers: Remember to always keep the passion and love for teaching as if it is still your first day! Never let your light go out no matter how hard the road may get.

Favorite piece of advice for students: Learning is not just for today, learning can and will take you to places and to platforms that you have never dreamed of.

What being a Gold Star Teacher means to you: Being a Gold Star Teacher means the world to me. It confirms that I am being the teacher that God has called me to be and that I am living a Purpose Driven Life.
